The Lonely Old Man    The old man lied in his bed, staring at the ceiling. His house reeked but he'd become too old and frail to get up to clean it, or even get up at all. Now he just laid in bed, thinking of better days passed, and how he wished he wasn't so alone.

   He though of his son, now the CEO of a bank, with a beautiful wife, three kids, and a stunning mistress half his age. How that boy was his pride and joy. But now he was a selfish man, never thinking of a person but himself. If he could do it all over again he would have taught his son that true happiness come when your loved ones are there to be happy with you.

The new boy    The repetitive beat of the the electron screamo music pulsed in Fire's ear from the the set of ear buds April shared with her. The two friends walked with Fire's arm lazily draped around April's shoulder.

   The claimed the seat at their normal table. "The table of diversity" as it was known around the school. There were kids from all races, sexualities, and trends.

   "Hey sexy ladies." Kayla said from across the table. She had blonde hair with a brown under layer and brown eyes. She was a bit chubby, that's what got her teased. She had ore personality and a prettier face than any of the popular girls.
