The cubs had grown so much so quickly. They were all old enough to play outside the den on their own. Sarabi, Mufasa, and Sarafina always were out playing together. Taka and Zira on the other hand were far more interested in just staying by each other and relaxing and talking.

Taka had no interest in the other cubs, he thought of them as immature, he much preferred to talk and plan things out. He liked discussing about the other pride and who he would make an alliance with if he were to ever be king.

Zira loved listening to Taka go one and on about his plan if he were king. She enjoyed talking about war, how she unleash hell on any pride that were to scorn their's if she were king. This is why Taka adored the younger cub.

Zira enjoyed the long talks of gore and violent rulings, but she also sometimes wanted to play with the other cubs, or more just Sarabi. She liked the older female cub and looked to her as some what of a sister.

"Taka! Zira!" Speak of the devil, Sarabi was calling for them, Mufasa and Sarafina followed her. "We're going to the watering hole, wanna come?" She asked.

"I'd rather not." Taka said, looking away with a scowl.

"Alright, Zira?" Sarabi asked, looking to the other female.

Zira grinned happily, then looked at Taka, she went back to a flat expression. "I'm alright."

Taka noticed this, he knew she wanted to go. "Why don't you go, dear? I feel like taking a nap and I'll be of no interest if I'm asleep."He said.

Zira smiled and stood up. "Alright, but if you need me come and get me, lover." She said, the young couple nuzzled and then Zira followed the older cubs towards the watering hole.

"Do you think you and my brother will have cubs one day?" Mufasa asked. Zira gulped, what an odd question.

"We were talking about kids before we picked you up, sorry for the bad introduction." Sarafina said.

"Oh... Well yeah, probably." Zira said. "I want cubs, and I think Taka, will, as well, maybe not many, but I see us having at least two." She added.

"Cool." Mufasa said. "What would you name them?"

"I dunno, I like Vitani for a girl. I don't know many boys names other then those that belong to the boys I know." Zira said.

"That's a beautiful, strong name that'd match any daughter you have, Zira." Sarabi praised, Zira grinned proudly.

"What about you guys?" Zira asked.

"I want a son named Simba." Mufasa says.

"I like the name Mheetu." Sarafina said.

"I'd like to name my first daughter Nala, after my mother." Sarabi said.

Zira smiled. "Oh, cool. If I did something like that my mom would smack me on the head and tell me to be more creative." She said with a laugh.

"Your mom is scary." Sarafina says.

"Nahh, you're just whimpy." Zira retorted. Sarafina glared.

"Now, you two, play nice." Sarabi said.

"Yeah, no need for a fight." Mufasa said.

Sarafina nodded. "You guys are right. Huh, Zira?" She said.

"I dunno, kicking your butt woulda been pretty fun." Zira said, kidding, with a grin.

Sarafina furrowed her brows and grinned. "Oh you're gonna get it now!" She said and pounced on Zira.

"Oh no!" Sarabi and Mufasa yelled in unison, they playfully tried to break the pretend fight up, soon enough all four cubs were rolling on the ground, pretending to beat each other up.
